The new pokemon game, the third game in the Diamond and Pearl Saga has finally been revealed! Pokemon Platinum is scheduled to be released this fall or spring 2009, and has several new features like:
- new Giratina form (origin form)
- new alt costume for the male trainer
-speculated add-ons sch as: New battle interface, new regigigas and shaymin form, Volkmer may no longer be a gym leader, wi-fi enabled underground, New Battle Island (battle frontier)
Not all of this information is 100% confirmed. Pleas check back from time to time for more info!

| sounds cool, Personally I'll only pick it up if the improve the online, as in being able to battle people, even the random matches would be nice, like PBR. but just being able to battle friends has got to go. same with that stupid "Online" battle tower feature...all it does is downloads your opponents Pokemon, and since its a set level, it really makes no difference if you just battled regularly...and online underground? how the heck is that gonna work? at least before you could have random people, kinda like a community(except with the limitations of Nintys community Dictatorship)? but online? not with Nintendo's service, its probably gonna require you to add people friends codes to do that...if so, then I'd rather do without the online in the underground. I wonder if they are gonna allow the trading up thing again? except this time from D/P? that would be interesting.this could mean a new PBR as well, or something(hopefully better than PBR). In the end, I'm gonna get the game, but unless they may their online work(so its actually fun)...I will be very ticked off... |

cool, screen shot looks the same as D/P though(graphics style that is)
as for the website? hmmm. (takes out Japaneses - English dictionary) this could take a while |
