Counter Strike is hyped up becuase its a great simple online shooting game. There are two teams and they just fight each other until an objective is complete or one team survives. It is basically fun, i play it and it is awesome co-operating with ur team mates to take people down on the other team. But besides the good parts there are alot of hackers on that game and alot of people who are extremly talented which makes it boring for somepeople. Its just plain fun.
I think the reason why this game is so big is 1 because like already said its a very simple game with no stupid rules 2 its online everywhere and 3 you can explore around everywhere play out strategies and use almost any kind of weapon you want i mean its a all round fully loaded game i use the game myself(get angry at times) but its great fun!
