I dunno. Personally, I think that it's like adding a story mode to mario kart, its really not nessicary, although, the story mode has always offered extra to smash bros, when your tired of just random battles, its a bit refreshing to play a single player mode.

i dont think a story mode is needed, although the newspaper story mode looks interesting

I think SSB always was the perfect multiplayer game, but singleplayer was always missing something. Adding stories and movies should make it the perfect game.

I agree. the Mulitplay was amazing, but the Single play was just missing something. I think that this new story mode will add just a bit more.

Yo Haze, can you put the 2 vids of the story mode in your first post.

okay, well i posted it, but it doesnt seem to be working on my end, please post if the video link works or not.If not I`ll try to fix the problem as soon as possible.

You got work to do Haze, add Diddy Kong to newcomers and add the 2nd story mode movie. I shall look on youtube for a link.

So what about big 'ol Petey? Do you guys think he'll be playable? or will he be like Master Hand? I think he'll be playable. He appears in Many mario games and kinda has his own following
