I think he is just a not playable sub-boss, just like masterhand and gigabowser. He is way to big for a character, and he plays a part in story mode. I don't think want double characters in the story.

i think another stage, or an animal crossing character, becasue they posted a animal crossing tune on the site

Please try not to double post  . I think that story mode is actually needed. Just doing Vs matches get boring after a while and isn't very satisfying. Story mode will want to make you play for a longer time because within each story you can choose different Outcomes, thus making you want to play it several times just to know what happens in each story and each outcome

ya the animal crossing tune does sound nice. but now the question lies, whith an animal crossing stage and tune, will we see an animal crossing playable charecter.

my guess is tom nook. becasue really, he is the only main character (other then you ofcourse) who every has to interact with on a daily basis. and becasue i recal last year, the massive fan base that Nook had going for him.
