Everyone remember Mario Kart? Well, here's the new version for the Wii!
I loved the series and this new game looks pretty sweet! These are just some various videos of the announcement and screen shots and pictures on the game.
As you may have noticed, it comes with a special steering wheel controller. I think that it will be great for Mario Kart as it will involve the innovation of the Wii, as well as a great feel for really driving (well as close as you can get to driving) in a Mario Kart game.

Mario Kart Wii is set to launch in basically a week, April 27. Its already out in Japan and Europe, and its been getting some great reviews by critics and fans alike.
Utilizing Nintendo's Wi-Fi connection, you can battle, race, outlast, and outdo friends, rivals and opponents from around the world.
There are many new unlockables be it characters, several different types of karts and bikes, and difficulty settings, and you can have 12 players per race instead of the traditional eight. the game is compatible with the gamecube and classic controllers for players who want a tighter, less loose control scheme.

People might not noticed it but at the startline there were 12 karts.

it looks as if they added a new trick system. looks basic, but still. And ya MrPanic, it does look like there are now 12 racers, good eye . Who here is thinking about getting this Mario kart version. I might, but i don't want the steering wheel peripheral, because I personally won't use it, although my friends and sister might. oh well. :P
Besides, my Online multi-player is going to be Medal of Honor: Heroes 2. with a 32 multi-player online shooter, you can't go wrong! (that is, of course, if you don't like shooters :P

I'm going to get it. who doesn't get mario Kart? it is the bast racing game very made! Lol. In my eyes anyway. I suck at most other racing games, but love mario kart cause of the total mayhem and destruction that is created in every race

lol, true, i personally don't like the console versions of Mario kart though, oh well. I think the best race of all time is NFS:MW

i personally am done with the mario kart series. i feel as if its just the same game with mild changes each time. I'm with haze most wanted was really good. im sticking with my NFS franchise

I'm only happy if there are more then 30 levels, MKds rocked, double dash was way to skinny.

| mario karts out tomorrow, although I've already played it:P IMO unless you have a Wii online, its not really worth a purchase, they got rid of co-op grand prix, the 150cc and Mirror Mode Bots are BRUTAL! (namely becasue of the 4 extra karts I suppose) I'll have a review up in about a week or so? I'm kinda busy with other stuff right now, so it'll come soon enough, but ya, In my opinion its not really worth the purchase unless you have online... |
