SimCity DS
Intro: Sim City is easyly one of the best simulation franchises out there, and it seems only natural that they bring it to the DS.
Graphics: Meh, could have been better. the graphics weren't bad, nor were they good, they just, Were. They didn't really take away from the gameplay, becasue they were about on par with simcity 2000 graphics for the PC. The only annoyance is when you are building things, becasue its not the actual building that you see being built, its just a grid screen with the colour of the Building, so that was kinda annoying but thats not the problem, the grapics could have been alot better, but like I said that wasnt the problem.I give te graphics 3/5
Gameplay: No the problem lies in the gameplay. How you may say? lets go back to the building issue, The touch screen is kind of like using a mouse in this game, but the problem is that it isnt 100% accurate. So, when you want to line up say a University beside say an already built baseball field, theres a slight chance, that your going to miss and have to rebuild the university. another building problem is with the innaccuracy is if you want to demolish like a tree or something and a power plant is near by, you very well may end up blowing up you power plant, but the only differende between a power plant and a building or a tree, is that you can undo trees and buildings. A plus is that its easyier to make money in this game. Multi-card play is supported which is also a plus, but I guess you could say that the one fault in this game, is its downfall from a higher score is the building, becasue when the inaccuracies come in, thats when the problems start, but overall, the gameplay gets 3.5/5
so In closng, Simcity DS is a pretty good game, couldn't have been much better than it is, but it is a good game none the less, fans of this series, and even new comers will be pleased with this game
